Kevin Close is the Vice President of Global Compensation and Benefits at EMC Corporation. Kevin is responsible for leading the strategy, design, execution and communication of EMC’s Compensation and Benefit programs.
In 2010, Kevin was chosen as the 2010 Human Resources Rising Star in the Human Resources Executive as the Change Agent.
Prior to joining EMC in 2002, Kevin worked with Watson Wyatt Worldwide where he consulted with clients to develop compensation programs aligned with business objectives; analyzed and developed compensation programs for acquisition, divestiture, and restructuring events; and all forms of employee stock option and restricted stock programs. He has assisted major clients in the retail, high technology, real estate, manufacturing and telecommunications industries Kevin’s experience also includes several years in corporate Compensation and Benefits settings having served senior roles in both compensation and benefits design functions. Kevin has also consulted on employee benefits advising clients on plan design, implementation and regulatory compliance.
Kevin holds a B.S. in management from Bentley College. He is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist and is a member of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists and World at Work.
